Questions and answers
The questions we field most often, answered the way we would answer them on the phone. If yours is not here, call (833) 652-6912 and ask.
Do you offer emergency and 24 hour pest control in your city?
Yes. The line at (833) 652-6912 is answered around the clock, every day of the year. Active wildlife in living space, stinging insect nests near doorways and anything involving an allergy are treated as priority calls in your city and the surrounding towns.
How quickly can someone get to me?
Same-day service is available across most of your city when you call early, and next-day is standard otherwise. We give you an arrival window on the phone rather than a vague promise.
What does a visit cost?
You get a flat quote before any work begins. The price depends on what the problem is, how far it has spread and how much sealing the property needs, and it does not change once you have approved it.
What is the difference between pest control and wildlife removal?
Pest control handles insects and rodents through treatment, baiting and exclusion. Wildlife removal deals with larger animals such as raccoons, squirrels, bats, opossums, skunks and snakes, and relies on trapping, one-way doors and structural sealing. We do both from the same number, which saves you working out which one you need.
Do you handle the damage the animals left behind?
Yes. Contaminated insulation, droppings, nesting material and odour are all part of the job, along with repairing the chewed or torn entry points that let them in.
Do you work on commercial properties in your city?
We do. Restaurants, offices, warehouses, retail units, schools and rental portfolios across your city are handled on schedules that work around opening hours, including overnight and weekend visits.
Can you come out today in your city?
Often, yes. Same-day slots across your city go early, so call (833) 652-6912 as soon as you can and we will tell you honestly what is available rather than booking you and rescheduling.
Is the treatment safe around pets and children?
Tell us about pets, children and anyone with allergies or breathing problems when you book, and we will plan the treatment around them. We will also tell you which areas to stay out of and for exactly how long.
Do you offer ongoing pest control rather than one-off visits?
Yes. Monthly, quarterly and seasonal plans are available throughout your city, which is what most customers move to after we clear the initial problem. It is considerably cheaper than repeatedly treating the same infestation.
How do I know whether I have rats, mice or something bigger?
The noise is the clue. Mice are light and quick, rats are heavier and mostly nocturnal, squirrels are loudest at dawn and dusk, and raccoons thump and drag. Describe what you are hearing and when, and we can usually narrow it down on the phone.
Do you remove animals humanely?
Wherever the species, the season and the structure allow it, yes. One-way exclusion doors let animals leave on their own, and where trapping is needed we check traps promptly and keep families together rather than separating a mother from her young.
What areas around your city do you cover?
your city itself plus the surrounding suburbs, townships and nearby communities. If you are close to your city and not sure whether you are in range, call (833) 652-6912 and we will tell you straight away.
Will one treatment solve it?
For a wasp nest or a single animal, usually. For roaches, bed bugs, termites or an established rodent population, plan on a follow-up. Breeding cycles mean the second visit is what actually finishes the job, and we quote it up front rather than adding it later.
Do I need to leave the property?
For most treatments, no. Where you do need to stay out of a room for a few hours we tell you before we start so you can plan around it.
What should I do before you arrive?
Keep pets away from the affected area, do not spray anything yourself, and if there is an animal in a room, close the door. For bed bugs and roaches there is a short prep list we send when you book.
